Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Order Processing & Verification

After successfully placing your order on berniture.com, our Customer Service team will initiate a verification process. You will be contacted by phone call or SMS to confirm your order details and delivery address.

Verification is typically completed within 24 to 72 hours from the time the order is placed. Your delivery timeline begins after successful verification.

📌 Note: Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

 

2. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery lead times vary depending on the product type and category. Below are the estimated timeframes after order verification:

       Standard furniture items: 2 to 4 weeks

       Custom or made-to-order items: 4 to 6 weeks

       In-stock items: 5 to 10 working days (where applicable)

These timeframes are estimates. Berniture will keep you informed throughout the process via WhatsApp updates.

 

3. Delivery Areas & Fees

Berniture delivers across all Egyptian governorates. Delivery fees and coverage are as follows:

📌 Note: Delivery fees for governorates outside Cairo and Giza will be calculated based on your location and displayed at checkout before payment.

 

4. Delivery & Professional Installation

Berniture provides full white-glove delivery service. Our trained team will:

       Deliver your furniture directly to your desired room or space

       Fully assemble and install all items on-site

       Ensure all pieces are correctly fitted and functioning before leaving

       Remove and dispose of all packaging and wrapping materials upon request

Assembly and installation are included at no additional cost for all orders across Egypt.

📌 Note: Please ensure clear access to the delivery location before the scheduled date. Berniture is not responsible for delays caused by restricted building access or elevator unavailability.

 

5. Order Tracking

Berniture provides real-time order updates via WhatsApp. You will receive notifications at key stages:

       Order confirmed & verification completed

       Production or preparation underway

       Order dispatched from the warehouse

       Delivery scheduled — date and time window confirmed

       Delivery completed

All updates will be sent to the phone number provided at the time of order. Please ensure your WhatsApp is active and accessible.

 

6. Failed Delivery Attempts

In the event that our delivery team is unable to complete a delivery, the following policy applies:

First Attempt

Our team will call you at least 1 hour before arrival. If you are unreachable or unavailable at the time of delivery, the team will wait up to 30 minutes. If no contact is made, the delivery will be marked as failed and rescheduled.

Second Attempt

A second delivery attempt will be arranged within 48 hours at no additional charge. You will be notified in advance via WhatsApp and phone call.

Third Attempt & Beyond

If delivery fails a second time due to customer unavailability, the order will be returned to our warehouse. The customer will bear:

       Re-delivery fees applicable to their governorate

       Storage fees if the order remains uncollected for more than 7 days

If no arrangement is made within 14 days of the second failed attempt, Berniture reserves the right to cancel the order. Refunds in such cases will be subject to deduction of all incurred delivery and storage costs.

 

7. Delivery Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. You may reschedule your delivery free of charge if the request is made more than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.

Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery, or rescheduling to a date more than 7 days from the original scheduled date, will incur a rescheduling fee. Our Customer Service team will advise on the applicable fee based on your location and order.

📌 Note: To reschedule, please contact us via WhatsApp or call our Customer Service team as early as possible.

 

8. Inspection Upon Delivery

We strongly recommend that you or your authorized representative carefully inspect all delivered items before signing the delivery confirmation. Please check for:

       Visible damage to any item or component

       Missing parts or accessories

       Incorrect items delivered

Any issues must be reported to the delivery team on the spot and noted on the delivery receipt. Claims for damage or missing items reported after the delivery team has left may not be accepted.

📌 Note: If you are unable to be present personally, you may authorize a trusted representative to receive and inspect the order on your behalf. They must present a copy of your National ID.

 

9. Force Majeure

Berniture shall not be held liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, civil unrest, government restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or any other force majeure event.

In such cases, Berniture will communicate the delay as soon as possible and work to reschedule delivery at the earliest available opportunity. No penalties or compensation will apply to force majeure-related delays.
